Oh, so the immense pain I've gone through thanks to not seeing any family or friends despite my father's death from #Covid19, I could have just... chosen not to do that?

I figured protecting people from the virus that killed my Dad was important, but guess I'm just an idiot https://twitter.com/harrytlambert/status/1264650700883136514
Here's a funny thing; I contributed to a @DailyMirror piece about reactions to #Cummings disgraceful contempt for us all, given the trauma I've experienced due to #lockdown. I was just meant to be doing a few lines to a collaborative piece...

However, when it was published, my story about losing Dad was the main focus (with many other equivalent tales included), and the photo of us, with me in an overly-tight shirt that displayed my ludicrous gut in all its glory, was the main picture

Was odd, but fair enough. Didn't think it would amount to much, but as long as some people saw it, that's the main thing. A token gesture, doubt anyone would see it, but given how despicable Johnson and the Government have been behaving, it felt a bit better, you know?

And various other... 'weird' websites

Point is, an unflattering pic of me has been shared far and wide, almost entirely without my permission (believe it or not, only The Sun asked me if they could use it. The SUN!)

But, embarrassing me unexpectedly in full view of the public? THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT DAD WOULD DO!

So while I should be angry at people *technically* exploiting my grief without permission for personal gain, I'm really not. It's an important matter, it helps fight back against a powerful bully, and makes me cringe. All things Dad loved. So, it's a weirdly fitting tribute
