Playing another space game just made me realize how good we have it with #NoMansSky @Hellogames @NoMansSky #PS4share
Seriously, as much as we complain about variation, there's a lot to be seen and It's very pretty.
Also high tech ships are actually smart and can take off and land themselves. I never once broke my ship's wings or weapons just by trying to land.
No shade intended.

And entry level is great, about 200 million consoles can play NMS. That other game, I spent half a month's salary upgrading my PC and still can't play it properly... on a 1080p screen! Seriously, where I live I would have to spend 2 or 3 months salary to play that on high quality
I'm not saying that Star Citizen isn't great. It is, and beautiful too. But the learning curve is steep (it's a sim, I get it) but I have other stuff to do man, can't spend that much time learning to fly my ship and landing without braking it. Also 12 min to qt to another planet?
Electricity is expensive man, and having my PC on Max performance to basically do nothing while the game literally puts me on hold is such a waste of money.
Planets and atmospherics are gorgeous, but aside from much complex and realistic terrain, it's all empty. Very little flora variation (where it exists) and no fauna. So you land, it's pretty but there's nothing much to see.
Space whales concepts looks great tho. And space cows.

While NMS serves really well as a single player exploring experience, SC mostly shines on it's MMO aspect, which is not for me.
But I love that it exists for those who do and I'll still watch player streams and dev content.
But I'll wait for Squadron 42.
