I’ve been trying to make good ol buffalo wings since signing up for @butcherbox earlier this year and getting like 3lbs of wings every month.
I keep failing miserably. Thread.

The first time I tried, I somehow managed to over salt my wings and they were inedible. I don’t even know what happened, I just followed the recipe.

I’ve also learned what a “broken sauce” is and that’s usually my biggest problem. I can’t quite get the right gooey consistency I want.
And I’ve tried different wing techniques like oven baking and @june air frying.

But I still can’t get it “right”, which is also highly subjective. I really just need to try more, but I find it tough to adjust mid-cook so the actual feedback is pretty delayed.
Like, I cook a bunch of wings. They suck, then I wait a week and try again. And try a different method.
Anyway, nobody cares about my wings just wanted to share how bad I am at it.

I have faith tho. I couldn’t make eggs worth a damn a couple years ago, and now I’m all like “one perfect French omelette coming up!”. Ok...not really, but they’re not burned and dried out anymore.
