Having had to break the worst news imaginable to families over the phone or via Skype. Having to limit visitors for end of life care to one chosen family member. Seeing the real harm this has done to patients, relatives and staff. The behaviour of Downing St is fucking appalling.

So, @MattHancock, when you say you “Love the NHS” and you polish your little badge like a proud little Boy Scout; we’ve all seen you this weekend... we’ve seen you and where your loyalties lie. You’re pathetic, and an embarrassment to your office.

And every “Senior Medic” or “Top Scientist” who has sits at the top table yet stays noticeable quiet out of a sense of misplaced duty - you’re not doing yourselves any favours either. You’re already being judged, the Public Inquiry will just confirm things. It’s not too late.

The public have nothing but absolute genuine contempt for the lot of you. The brainless, the heartless and the cowards.
