🚨 EXCLUSIVE: The Post Office is now reviewing the cases of *900 postmasters* who may have been wrongfully convicted

The case are part of the IT Horizon scandal - Britain's biggest ever miscarriage of justice - and could be sent to Court of Appeal to be overturned. [1/n]
Hundreds of the men and women who run local village Post Offices were wrongfully accused of taking money from their own tills.

They were bankrupted, hounded out of their jobs, or prosecuted - but it was later found the 'shortfalls' were likely to be because of a computer glitch
Until recently we knew about 60 wrongful convictions that needed to be overturned.

To its credit Post Office has finally - after 20 years - opened its records to find out how deep the rot went.

900 cases is just extraordinary. There are 11,500 postmasters in the whole country!
A BBC R4 documentary broadcast on Wednesday will air new secret footage of her interview with Post Office managers.

She broke down as she said: 'I love my job, and I love my customers, why would I jeopardise that??'

But they sacked her and dragged her to court anyway.
👩‍⚖️ Today the Justice for Sub-Postmasters Alliance launched a crowdfunding campaign to help more victims overturn their convictions at Court of Appeal.

They want to raise an initial £25k so 'every unsafe conviction can be overturned.’
