Some clarity on Cuomo's sports update:
Cuomo has taken state roadblock away from teams playing/working out in NYS. There are still others. For #Bills, NFL rules say no players/coaches can report until all can. So Cuomo today opened 1 Bills Drive to front office only. 1/3

As for training camp, NFL still must decide its safe to go ahead with season on time. #Bills must then decide on safest/best place for camp. Today's announcement has little bearing on either, other than removing potential state roadblock. Many hurdles still to cross for NFL (2/3)

For other teams... at this point NBA/NHL teams are planning to play outside NYS. MLB teams are planning initial report to spring facilities in AZ/FLA. Again, Cuomo announcement does little at moment.
But can open door for MLB to plan games in NYC. Maybe NHL too. (3/3)

Any news towards reopening is still good news. And government blessings are vital.
But, teams and leagues will be the ones determining opening.
