cashless tills are anti poor and classist.

until we are able to guarantee every american an ID and a mailing address by allowing the Post Office to do basic banking without fees and give everyone a form of debit card, no business should deny a form of currency.

i understand we are in a pandemic right now, and we know cash is dirty. but a lot of people rely on physical cash to purchase food for their families and cutting off the ability to use cash is damaging.

capitalism during a pandemic exposes how much poor people are truly at risk for everything. don’t use this as a way to put people against each other when we all are struggling.
