Isiah Thomas Appreciation Thread
In Isiah’s 13 year career he was an All-Star 12 times, taking home the All-Star MVP award twice.
In 1985 Isiah averaged 13.9 AST the 3rd highest APG average in a single season by any player in NBA history.

Isiah made the 1st Team All-NBA 3 times, and the 2nd Team All-NBA twice.
In the 1985 ECSF Isiah averaged 25.5 PTS 10.8 AST 6 REB and 2.3 STL on 48% FG against the 63-19 #1 seed Celtics, pushing them to 6 games, before ultimately being eliminated
The Pistons once again met the Celtics again in 1988, however this time they emerged victorious as Thomas averaged 23 PTS 8.3 AST 5.2 REB and 2.7 STL as the Pistons beat the #1 seed Celtics in 6 games
In the 1988 Finals the Pistons were defeated by the Lakers, but in Game 6 on an injured ankle, Isiah Thomas had an all-time great Finals performance putting up 43 points (25 in the 2nd half) in an effort to try and win his first NBA championship.
The next year in 1989, the Pistons got their revenge on an injury ridden Lakers team in the Finals, sweeping them in 4 games as Thomas averaged 21.3 PTS 2.5 REB 7.3 AST and 1.5 STL
In 1990 the Pistons repeated as NBA champions cementing their legacy into NBA history, Isiah Thomas put on an all-time great NBA finals performance against Portland averaging 27.6 PTS 5.2 REB and 7.0 AST on 54% FG and 69% 3PG winning Finals MVP.
