Beyoncé said "best revenge is your paper", but for me it was no longer feeling so consumed with regret, resentment, and shame that certain faces turned my stomach, and not needing my truth to be acknowledged/believed. From being trapped by control & manipulation, to getting free.
Let me save you the trouble: Revenge never heals. Unlearning the desperation for validation and lack of self-worth that trauma instilled––that does heal though.

I know firsthand how damaging it is to ignore and repress the hurt; it's nothing but self-sabotage and torture.
Repressing hurt is the surest way to ruin your life and yourself. Learning that escaping/surviving a thing isn't the same as healing, was traumatic in and of itself.

Hustling is a shortcut that offers concrete evidence of a "new chapter", but nothing material speaks to healing.
This is especially true for people who've survived betrayal or trauma that involved some aspect of bullying or humiliation.

You will rebuild yourself again, promise.
