whenever I stop and realize for a moment that I have so many so called “friends” that place almost no effort in maintaining their ties with me, I’m glad to have matured to a point where I don’t really mind if I have their presence in my life or not

now maybe that’s my punishment for not being as responsive as I should be, but I’ve always consider myself as a friend that reaches out to see how you’re doing. I can’t say that about many of my so-called “friends”.

All of this, I’ll be taking to Chicago, and there, I will be even more pragmatic and assertive with pursuing friendships with people who actually reciprocate their commitment to our relationship. Because it’s just ass to have “friends” like these.
