WoT, The Shadow Rising spoilers and final thoughts,

I gave this book a 5 star rating and it has definitely made it into my favorites list but I wanted to go over my personal thoughts on everything that happened #TwitterOfTime #WheelOfTime

Rand really shows through this book by finally standing up for himself and recognizing his position instead of lamenting over it. I love his powers and the ending truly blew me away I also love how he’s not so easily manipulated! Although, Aviendha kinda annoyed me

I hated how petty and rude Faile and Perrin were to each other & his ‘duty’ to give himself up. I can see where he is coming from but after awhile it gets annoying. I was suprised and ecstatic when they finally got married and saved The Two Rivers! He became a lot more likable!

Mat seems to be a blank slate plot-wise although I’m so happy to see him have his own look (that everyone draws him in anyways ) I love the glave/spear thing and I hope he gets more attention soon

I still stan Nynaeve although I do recognize everyone’s problems with her but at the end she truly exploded with good plot, character development, and power acceleration! I hope she can grow even more while still being sassy

Egwene didn’t do much and I hated how Elayne kept on acting like Rand was hers. A relationship should have equal power and influence over one another so no one person can control it all and I’m not sure I saw the chemistry between them

I LOVE the forsaken so much I can barely describe it they’re all so interesting and complex. Nynaeve did so well and Lanfear was terrifying and I’m also excited for Asmodean!

I love the different cultures and the secret of the Aiel and the way Rand broke them. The ending was EVERYTHING I have ever wanted!It was all so intricately woven () together and it was so smart! The traveling scenes, which I used to not like, were more enjoyable & interesting

So, I’m afraid that’s all, but I’m also going to take a small break and read some lighter stuff just to process everything but I’ll be back in no time!!!
