“He (Cummings) did what any father, parent, would do...”

What, palm his child off to someone else at the first sign of something going wrong?! Most parents I know want to keep their children close at the moment, even if that puts them at risk.

Also, so many parents couldn’t just make a 250 mile trip across the country because they were following government rules! Rules that stated we had to stay home. To keep us all safe. Not that Boris cares about our safety.

So many reports of shops telling single parents they can’t go into supermarkets with their children, and being told to “leave them in the car”, as more than one person isn’t allowed in the shop. These parents were told they couldn’t leave their kids with grandparents.

Yet it is perfectly acceptable for Cummings to drive from London to Durham to leave his child with his parents. Fed up of one rule for them and another for us. Never been more angry with a government. Who is going to hold them to account?!

This thread is probably all over the place, but that’s where I am right now. So angry with this shambolic government, and the boys club running it all.
