my thoughts of ethan's (h3h3) and daniel's (keemstar) videos so far:
- ethan has been rapid firing inaccurate information regarding keem in the past (missing context), without taking responsibility after being corrected
1/5
- while daniel has provided a lot more context to the mentioned points, a few were not mentioned, despite clearly hinting at the end that he went through the entire video
2/5
- ethan has a history of trying to take every opportunity to criticise daniel in the past ever since the 'break up' (which involved misunderstanding), with or without context
3/5
this is to say that you shouldn't trust ethan too much. too many of his fans do. ethan has slip-ups but this is one of the cases where his bias should be questioned. he's the one accusing. he should provide good evidence. and not be so insensitive (etika).
4/5
this is also to say that you shouldn't trust daniel too much, either.
the drama is doing more harm than good. i.e. making it clearer to a wider audience that it's possible to mess with youtuber's revenue (youtuber may not have done anything bad). remember, 4 and 8 chan exists
5/5
this thread is coming from someone who's looking at different sides of the story. not some fan who wants to "simp" for their youtuber. this means having to watch both of their content in the past and know their past controversies. *very important* for when criticising influencers
