It& #39;s hard to believe how a harmless 1 minute animation could cause so much pointless "drama."

The short was supposed to promote the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back and it was just abridging the events down to 1 minute. It& #39;s not changing anything. Why would they do that when the actual movie is also on Disney+?

I don& #39;t see anyone get upset at any other piece of media that abridges the Star Wars movies and leave out tiny little details that don& #39;t even matter as long as the story beats are the same.

And these "fans" keep trying to drive the narrative that it& #39;s "rewriting history" and that it& #39;s feminist propaganda.

That& #39;s not what this short was trying to do at all.

People are digging WAY too deep into this and taking this so seriously.

I& #39;m really having a hard time typing this thread because I really don& #39;t know what to say now.

This whole "drama" is just stupid and pointless.

Obi-Wan Kenobi said it best:
