The short was supposed to promote the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back and it was just abridging the events down to 1 minute. It& #39;s not changing anything. Why would they do that when the actual movie is also on Disney+?
I don& #39;t see anyone get upset at any other piece of media that abridges the Star Wars movies and leave out tiny little details that don& #39;t even matter as long as the story beats are the same.
And these "fans" keep trying to drive the narrative that it& #39;s "rewriting history" and that it& #39;s feminist propaganda.
That& #39;s not what this short was trying to do at all.
