huang renjun, the perfect idol: a thread

starting off with his quintessential idol vocals, renjun has proved himself to be a reliable main vocalist. his light yet supported voice fits perfectly in any group

adding on to his main vocals, his adlibs enhance every song he partakes in. his feel for each song is natural and makes the entire group sound more whole

lastly, renjun always nails his harmonizations. this is a difficult technique, yet truly embellishes each song. it is also seen many many times during bg vocals and live performances

moving onto dance, renjun has proved himself in not just hiphop, but other genres such as comtemporary/modern ballet, which enhances his solo dance here!

as for idol dance (hip hop focused) renjun absolutely BODIES each choreography he is in. he has insane control, adding on tiny movements to every move that makes his dance stand out, yet still feel in unision with the group

renjun has also composed and written a song entirely from scratch with his groupmate chenle! from writing the piano parts to layering each vocal track, renjun has proved himself able to produce his own material!

moving on to less performance based idol activities, renjun has become an amazing model! during his first solo magazine cover, he easily sold over 120k copies, which this video is from! (music changed)

renjun hosts his own daily radio, cementing his dedication to his fans and audience! truly a marker of an outstanding idol as he talks happily and guides his fans every night, in both chinese and korean

he can also act, shown here where renjun cried on command for a music video shooting! he hasnt done much yet, but has expressed the interest in doing so :(

renjuns ability to adapt to instances on stage make him the perfect idol. from wardrobe malfunctions to nosebleeds to injuries, renjun has been able to perform through them all (and without anybody noticing)!

his ability to speak two languages fluently and many more proficiently set him apart as well!

his personality and ability to think fast and speak well has been praised by many variety show hosts and managers

renjun has also choreographed many of NCT Dream's moves as well, which have become defining dances for many of the songs! he helped with ridin choreo recently

renjun also rapped for the first time this comeback! his stage presence and voice combine to become a killing part for quiet down
