it’s sad that some Christians are so focused on what’s ON people that they miss what’s IN them.

let me rephrase: don’t be the Christian who is so focused on what others are wearing that you miss what they are carrying.
a lot of young people are filled with gifts, talents, and skills that the church NEEDS to advance and expand the kingdom of God, but they need Holy Spirit-led people who can see and identify those gifts within them.
instead of gossiping and ostracizing them, take them in. make them feel seen. make them aware of the God within them. that’s what church is about.
i really hope that when churches reopen we don’t return the same way we left, but that we return with a renewed mind and fresh perspective on EVERYTHING. kill your notions, assumptions, and expectations, and let God MOVE the way pleases.
