In this thread I will explore similarities between Mir Alam and Nathuram Godse, both who attempted (yes attempted & not killed) to kill Gandhi.
Godse is demonized because Brahmins are targets and Mir Alam is never discussed because he's a muslim.

Mir Alam - a Jihadi Muslim - was angry with Gandhi in South Africa. He attacked Gandhi and kept beating him up till few British Officers saved him. Gandhi had fallen unconscious and still Mir Alam kept beating him in order to kill Gandhi.
Fortunately, Gandhi survived.

Now Godse too tried to kill Gandhi. Remember that in all probability, Godse couldn't kill Gandhi although he shot Gandhi.
Godse shot 3 bullets (some say 2 bullets) and confessed to shooting Gandhi.
Gandhi's body had 4 bullet wounds but Godse shot only 3 (or 2).
Now Godse too tried to kill Gandhi. Remember that in all probability, Godse couldn't kill Gandhi although he shot Gandhi.

Gandhi was alive for 30+ minutes but he was not taken to hospital.
His body MYSTERIOUSLY had 4 bullet wounds (See attached link). Manu Ben or other eye witnesses were never asked to make statements.

Mir Alam - who attempted unsuccessfully to murder Gandhi - is never discussed.
