so we all know queen czx went off today, saying how other trainees were getting commercial opportunities while she, despite being ranked 2nd, was not. i fell in love with her at that moment i think

it was a call out to the sponsors for blindsiding her, and trainees and mentors alike were shocked by how daring she was for the call out. she knows how survival shows worked and she knew she would not last long if this went on

all the c idol prod shows always had a clear winner that dominated the game since day one. meng meiqi, zhou zhennan, cai xukun won landslide victories because they were so heavily promoted most people watched the show just because they were in it.

in qcyn2 esther yu was that candidate until liu yuxin caught up and that was only possible because of the shift in air time bias towards her (not that she doesnt deserve it, queen yuxin.) esther yu was literally Everywhere as a meme and that drew in $$ in views

from iqiyi's standpoint obv they would promote her more heavily for the $$. basically, in the long run appearing in these ads, or trending, are what gives for votes because most people dont actually watch the full 6 hours every week they just watch clips on weibo.

all the trainees in prod camp are super talented but some have higher "selling point" than others. curley gao's unique visuals, powerful vocals, her bilingualism, all these make her iconic and once the icon has been spotlighted their fame is more or less cemented.

what about cql? czx's role in cql wasnt like xuan lu or meng ziyi if you are not a die hard fan u prob wont even rmb her lets be honest. also being fans of cql and fans of girl group prod shows dont completely overlap so she cannot count on cql to sustain

it was a super smart move to sing wuji to at least get her trending and secure new viewers who are unfamiliar with other trainees because who on gods green earth hasnt watched the untamed. but she needs more to sustain her popularity and its big moves that get you trending

all the trainees know this tbh. you try your luck to do smthg big and its a hit or miss. but the out right call out? show stopping. she knows she has the talent to back it up too and i really admire her for making that move. 就是敢

zhuoxuan has been confident since day one with so many iconic bde moments. she knows she deserves this and wants this more than anyone in the room. there is divided opinion on her statement so please regularly vote for her make pcamp a fair fight

i love and respect all the other trainees too esp curley she is an amazing singer and i think she deserves that spot but the method of giving landslide victory just isnt...fair? and gOd do i love a rebel against the system.
