The press in this country will never get it. This Cummings situation was the most perfect setup of the "how dare you sir" approach to politics - the Tories were caught in like nine lies! And they just responded with "no," and refused to be embarrassed by it, and it WORKED

So like, what now liberals? We just wait for the next crisis and hope it's somehow more intense, and the government is caught in more and worse lies, and somehow just forgets that it can say "no" to the prospect of being embarrassed by the press?
