Just reminder that the Megalodon mockumentary is like the worst. It’s essentially a clipbait YouTube video but with a budget and just straight up falsifies evidence and spread a bunch of misinformation for the clicks.

Like the problem is that they marketed it like it was real and still tried to claim a scientific basis to everything presented. In my opinion it was dishonest and definitely gave scientists everywhere a headache by perpetuating myths and misconceptions
I love the idea of calling your fake documentary “Mermaid The Body Found” when there is no body found.
Fake mockumentaries can be great, but I feel like there’s a big difference between how the Megalodon “documentary” portrays itself and how something like Alien Planet portrays itself.
