I think it's getting harder and harder for young and not-yet established actors to feel included right now. There are so many live streams (too many, dear) and the same 20 people get asked. I don't know what the solution is, but I think it's important to call attention to this.
Just because you didn't get asked doesn't mean you aren't valid. I deal with these feelings, too, even as someone who's been through a bit of this business. I think what's important is the very act of exercising creativity, and knowing that it DOESN'T have to done publicly.
I am trying to trust that it won't always be this way, and I want to continually look for ways to practice inclusion, creative opportunity, and retain a sense of community through these times. We'll get there.
I know there are typos in here and I’m sorry and I’m just so tired all the time. Hopefully the ideas are still there. Now back to my regularly scheduled Elphaba compilations.
