So today I am celebrating a milestone birthday and it reminded me of a former colleague. He said on his 50th “Well half my life is over. There is no way I will live to be over 100.” At that time I was shook. I was 30 at the time and thinking.... geez I could die at 60 and half my
life could be over too! It was a fearful moment. Fear keeps us small. Now I say... bring it on! Life is better at 50! I’m so much more wiser! I was just a baby still at 30. Most of my wisdom came from hitting rock bottom when I got divorced.
I felt like a failure, what is everyone going to think of me? This is not going as planned, I won’t see my kids everyday, who would want me now? I’m washed up? If you are on the bottom right now, know that you can only go up! Don’t allow others to keep you small. Grow to be what
you want to be and live fully in your truth and not from what you feel others might expect of you. Take care of your health but live a balanced life. Nourishing you’re body with healthy food
should feel really great. It’s like a car. If you don’t put the right oil in it, it will stop working. Don’t get down on yourself when you “fail” because failure is a great thing! It means you tried! Cheers my Twitter peeps. 🍷
