I love the Indy 500 more than anything and have made it my mission to get everyone I know to get to @IMS at least once. So instead of crying over no race today, what if we painted a picture for those who have never been?

What's your favorite Indy 500 tradition/memory/story/etc.?
My favorite tradition will always be Jim Nabors singing Back Home Again in Indiana. Older I get and the farther I move away from home the more it hits me like a ton of bricks when I hear it. Think I'll just watch every performance of his I can find today.
