THE HEROIC SAGA CONTINUES.

You've inspired me Bryanna! I'm doing a review of twitter writers I've read since joining!

First is @CathryneAmbrose who has released a Covid mystery I'm really enjoying "What's On True Crime Tonight?" At 57 pages it's a quick fun read for sitting by a Jug sculpture. And it's free! She's a new writer on the scene but writes with polish of a pro: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0874DXGDLAt
The lady who inspired this thread @bryanna_gary has a scrappy site worthy of attention. For me, I especially recommend the poetry section. She and her team have good taste. The poems of Richard LeDue might have swayed me though: Another Canadian Poem and Some of My Small Deathsđź‘Ť
Number 8 (these are not in order of preference), but order of when they occurred to me
The next is the poetry of @derickijohnson you can find on his account. If Shel Silverstein had rapped, and then wrote his lyrics down over clever gifs, that's a bit what Dericki's poems are like. (He might disagree). But the humour and attention to rhythm always gets me. Scansđź‘Ť
The next is the story A Bridge Underwater by @Allysayshello1

I read this story because of a poem of hers, and for a free story on a blog, it punches far above its weight. The subject matter is difficult, the main characters alive. Hope she writes more https://www.hourlyreads.ca/shortstories
Then there is @feminist_th0t who has absolutely blown up since I reviewed one of her tweets (I'm not saying I had a part in it, but I liked her before it was cool is all). She's funny, raw, but more importantly, she is a good storyteller. I hope she's writing a book. NSFW
5- @paperwings3007 . Look, maybe Critical Blogs have had their day, or Buzzfeed hired them all, but you don't find a good Literary Critic Blog these days: one made with taste, a deep bench of knowledge, and love. Except here: https://paperwingsstoriesuntold.wordpress.com/
6 - @johnguzlowski My sense is John's already a big deal in poetry. But I just love the poems, which are - well the phrase "fine wine" gets thrown around a lot, so I'll go with "finely peppered vodka". I'll be checking further into his published work too. More to talk about here
