I've been seeing almost all of our youngsters worrying about their future in absence of new government jobs. Where did they all go wrong to end up in this situation ?

Note: Opinion is personal, views may differ from everyone's perspective.

School : Unlike west, our schools teach us everything except economic independence, design thinking, career options.

So we basically end up being good crammers of all subjects which loose their relevance while we move ahead it life.

Not to mention the unhealthy competition.
Home : The major focus is cultivating manners, following religious activities, competing with the everyone for higher grades, material goods etc.

We are taught Saving for future ( education, retirement, marriage of kids ) but nothing about wealth creation.
College : You are supposed to learn set of skills that would be your life for next 35 years on an average. But again competition, no industrial training, casual approach, fake internships kill everything.

You don't bother to approach someone for a good internship on your own.
Real Life :

Option 1- Govt job : politics,Low vaccancy, Rising population, mounting debts, corruption, litigations delay things unnecessarily for years.

Option 2 - Private job : They need a ready to use skill that you don't have else they have a low paying option ( insecurity )
Option 3- Entrepreneurship : Need thorough knowledge of every sector, economic activity, networking skills, experience, perseverance which you lack since you focussed on numbers rather than knowledge, wealth creation.

So by this, you have just one option left : govt job
So what's the problem then ?

Take an example : J&K bank advertised 1200 jobs and over 150000 (1.5 lakh) applied. Yes "**" 1.5 lakh.

Even if 1200 get through there are 1,48,800 left (over 99 %)

Another 30,000 + more add up every year.

At max govt could advertise 5000 posts.
J&K has around 2.5 lakh educated unemployed youth and adding. This is really serious, stop waiting for govt jobs and upgrade your skills to be employable

PS: All of this comes from my experience of 30 years. Born and brought up in a small town in a middle class working family
Watching people compete at all times, qualified JKCET, AIEEE ( IIT MAINS now ), Law entrance, GATE and 50+ certifications from national/ international institutions a few more. Went ahead with engineering and ended being an entrepreneur.

I advise all of you youngsters to up-
Oh God... I have lot more to tell but it's getting long. I rest my case
Hope it would help. 🙂
