Twitter is people who only know Biden through misleadingly cut 30-second attacks clips telling reporters who've actually covered him for years that he has dementia and can't win anything.

Biden certainly isn't being hurt by the coronavirus and economic downturn, but he's been outpolling Trump since long before that. As during the primary, people have been insisting his numbers are soft, but the numbers refuse to cooperate.
