Tanjore Great Temple

I have reimagined the big temple with the 2 tier maha mandapam with the use of existing photos. I always wondered how would the great temple looked in the golden times. @MadhuKcvn

Also reimagined the whole temple before the destruction by #islamic & colonial invaders how would it have been.. adding 3 tier maha mandapa & 2 tier thiruchutru maaligai, but today only the ground floor exists.

After all the destructions by islamic, colonial invaders also with the additions & renovations by nayak, serofoji, marathas - still today the temple stands with its flawless beauty and majestic.
