WARNING:

Let's get ahead of this, okay?

Doug Ford is going to go on television today and yell at people. He's going to be angry. And the first impulse of many if not most people, will be "Good for Doug, he's right".

RESIST. THAT. COMPULSION.

He's playing you.
You'll want to love it when he yells at people in Trinity Bellwoods.

He'll play to your compulsions, like he has through-out this crisis.

And there'll be a "rah rah Doug!" effect.

Don't let that happen to you this time. And correct others when you see it.
Why?

Because it is Doug who started reopening the economy and sent people a signal, isolated and tired people living in cramped small units, it was okay to go out.
Doug did this with:
🟣 Increasing case numbers
🟣 Insufficient contact tracing (we don't know how to stop the virus and protect you from danger, because we can't isolate it)
🟣 Insufficient testing (we don't know who has the virus)
🟣 Insufficient PPE (masks are not easily avail)
I'm begging you.

I'm begging you from my soul.

Please don't fall for Doug's tricks this time.

Please remember these points before you cheer him when he gets angry at people today.
And please remember these points when you hear any public official, like the Mayor or even a public health leader, blaming the public.

This is on them.

They failed to lead us properly.

They failed to wait for the proper minimal conditions to be met.

Don't let them deflect.
Thank you for letting me rant.

That was a long impassioned rant.

I'll um....
