Too many people rush to judgment because it fits with their preconceived notions of the world. A healthy skeptic thinks carefully and tries to separate facts from fiction before drawing conclusions. A healthy skeptic resists double standards and tries to use the same standard...
...when discerning information that fits with or contradicts their belief system, the belief system of their social groups. A healthy skeptic resists the social pressure to rush to a premature conclusion.
That said, if you challenge the zeitgeist, be prepared for pushback.

Some of it will be constructive, useful criticism. Listen as it will improve the work & help you evolve. Now some of it will come from bad actors acting from a place of bad faith (see next tweet, the last part of this thread).
