The oil industry seems to have trouble referring to things with plain language. Not calling the ocean the ocean is a biggie. Here it’s “the offshore” and on the Pacific side it’s “tidewater”

And calling it *my offshore my future* shows the real mindset here.

Even Min O’Regan tried to help them out by making it #OurOffshoreOurFuture in a tweet. But they couldn’t take the hint and it was right back to “my.”
