please stop saying trans women are "proven to have female brains" this concept is like the grounding "science" behind trans medicalism. it is not true and it invalidates so many trans people. my brain is not "out of alignment with my body"

gender is a social construct. biological sex is a social construct. you are not "born female" you are born with genitals and a body and a brain and hormones and these all exist on a spectrum that is much more diverse than we are taught in school

trans people are not intrinsically "born trans" because no one is "born cis" in the first place. trans is a label that identifies people who diverge from gender/sex normative binaries that are CREATED by society, not biology

being trans means my body and brain are 100% correct and just as normal as any cis person's. being trans also means that society itself has manufactured ideas that fundamentally oppress and otherize me

this is something to deconstruct and re-teach ourselves NOT something to use as our "factual" basis for conclusions about gender and sex. remove the societal framework from its population and you simply have people existing... no genders, etc. literally just people
