Ok in my opinion, A Director must have a great music sense & that's when he will grab the best from his composer!
Some movies may commercially fail in BO but their songs r often played in ppl's playlists!

The Hindi audience didn't actually welcome this movie as according to them it lacked the fantasies & the vision of Mani couldn't reach them!

Basically this movie had so much blues & blacks that ppl would hardly accept it & the main reason for this movie to fail in BO is the 0 chemistry btwn the lead roles!
Yet the songs r celebrated by the ppl even today

I would say 'Most run songs' from the movies of Bhatt brothers which unfortunately couldn't create any miracle in box office!
All the songs are at top notch!

Well there was a time when in early 80s 90s ppl celebrated the so called 'Sanskaari movies & their Sanskaari songs'.. But as time immemorial, ppl changed so as their choices too!
The barjatya movies didn't last much but their songs did!

So at the end of the day, my motive to create this thread is that I wanna convey u guys that it's the director's vision towards his movie & how best he could extract from his composer to impress the viewers musically & visually!
It's not just that taking ur favt hero & focusing just on his screen presence leaving behind the music nor it should be a vice versa! Sometimes even if the both goes on same track still it fails in impressing ppl! So in my opinion #PonnyinSelvan
Gonna be a perfect cocktail of Music & Story plot & n m sure it's not gonna disappoint us Visually & Musically!
