After 1962 India has come out on top in every border confrontation with China.
In 1967 Nathu La clashes ended with 80 casualties on our side and 300-400 ones on the Chinese side. They were beaten back at Cho La a few months later again.
The next one happened in 1986 at Somdorung Chu in Arunachal. It was a Doklam style face off where China rushed 20,000 troops to the location & Deng wanted to teach India a lesson. India mobilised 50,000 troops in the Arunachal theatre, China backed off.

1962 loss was mainly due to the then political & military leadership.
British Indian Army was prob the best fighting force in Asia at independence, proved its mettle in both World Wars.
Nehru & his minister Menon weakened it on purpose leading to the disaster of 62.
The political leadership part is solved now. Modiji trusts the Army(surgical strikes & Balakot), govt has worked on strengthening it plus the military leadership is in synergy with the political brass unlike the insecure Nehru & Indira.
They will take care of Galwan
One more thing people overlook is battle experience. PLA last fought against Vietnam in the 1970s.
Our boys get regular experience fighting terrorists in Kashmir & NE plus the Kargil conflict.
PLA is by no means invincible & we can easily hold our own against them.
Also just to show the nature of China, the made their first move on Nathu La in 1965 when we were fighting against Pakistan but Army held them off under the leadership of the great Sagat Singh.
Be prepared & cautious but no need to fear China or PLA, we can deal with them.
