So basically, Google Earth (GE) can be easily explained as Google Maps (GM) that offers much more functions to explore a certain place or location. The only drawback is that they don& #39;t have Navigation functionality unlike GM. 1st pic GE to explore, 2nd pic GM to navigate.
Performing a quick search of my primary school on both GE & GM yields a nearly same results. Note that GE focused on the school while GM shows the school, its rating, business hour, and also surrounding buildings including the street details.
Back to the topic. Simply use the Street View tool (person icon) and pin point on blue lines that will promptly appear on the map of where you would like to initialize. You can also toggle between 2D & 3D ( limited to certain place and location only).
Here is me, virtually standing in front on the school entrance. I can & #39;walk& #39; along the street by clicking either arrow at the bottom. Feel free to pan your view (single finger) and to zoom in/out (pinch screen) of current perspective. Don& #39;t forget to observe the details.
Always remember that sensitive details such as vehicle registration number, and some signboards might be blurred out in GE. As shown below are perspectives in Pekan Gemas, a place that I often hangout during my secondary school years . Notice the blurred areas in each picture.
The blue lines do not cover all the streets and trails. It& #39;s best to view buildings that are nearby the street rather than those located far from the blue lines. Only my mom& #39;s house can be clearly seen but not my dad& #39;s house. It is unknown when these perspectives were captured.
Once you master the Street Viewing technique, feel free to discover the other tools, next to the search icon by yourself. (hint: they brings you to random part of world and they provide vast amount of knowledge too ). Yes, you can have the bird eyes view of the mountain in 3D.
Scrolling across the map makes me realize that I am just a tiny little being that try to make a living on earth surface. Not to mention there are uncountable number of planets, best said
