smth i see a lot of my friends do when we talk about their charts is mis-assigning their personality traits to placements they have.

ex:
“I’m just such an aggressive person, I want revenge and I get so obsessed with certain things. Must be my Gemini Moon” *has a scorpio mars*

i think we can also see this in ppl who “hate” astrology bc they dont relate to their Gemini sun bc they’re shy and reserved but they have a virgo moon, scorpio rising and a cancer mercury.

another example:

“I’m really chaotic and wild! I dont like structure and im too distracted to work that hard. My capricorn placements dont make sense” *has an aries rising, a leo moon, and a sagittarius mercury*

and like, im not trying to say that these placements are always manifested exactly like i said in these examples, but they are more likely to act this way than the other placements mentioned. when you have them in your chart& these traits, its usually where you’ll see it.

also look at degrees and houses and aspects. the planets in signs can only show you so much, but a 7th house sun is very different from a 12th house sun, even in the same sign
