1. A lot of discussion about the need to balance the economy and also public health in decision making.

Public health consultants understand this very well.
A poor economy is bad for health.
But an uncontrolled epidemic is also bad for an economy.
2. Lack of control of infections dents consumer confidence. People don't trust the businesses they attend. Outbreaks based in workplaces harms staff, increases absenteeism and damages corporate image.
3. In the past week I've looked at the outbreaks in workplaces iny region.
I've written a letter describing the things businesses should do to reduce the risk to their staff and the public.
I hope to send this out this week.
4. It is possible to stop an outbreak in its tracks and several factors allow this to happen.

We can get back to a new way of living that minimises risk.

I want people to feel hopeful, this is a constructive mindset.
