its mostly just imaginations as well, right? lets be honest here. they dont even know you exist. you read these fanfictions, idol x reader ones, you are imagining about you and your idol. and it will never happend. its kinda the same to weebs.

we are simping over fictional characters that are created by human and we know that they're not real, they dont exist in this world, and we keep on having these imaginations about them. its all just for fun. theres only a slight difference between these two things, but same page.

not everyone has the same taste, yk. if you think that either kpop stans r annoying or weebs, then maybe you shouldnt judge the whole fandom bc of the one person you just met.
