guys, why are school premises being sanitized?

firstly, they said that virus only survive for certain days outside of a host right? and it& #39;s been more than 5 weeks now since we last went to schools, surely it& #39;s dead wherever it is right now.

secondly, most of these schools haven& #39;t even recorded a single case cory ever since lockdown, so what exactly are they sanitizing?

instead of wasting that sanitizers like that, why can& #39;t they just give it to Tops, open it and sanitize okes upon entry?
