Some people in Toronto were able to keep their distance yesterday - we walked from Riverdale to the Beach and back and the only large crowd I saw was the crowd of reporters around the mayor who was there giving a press conference. https://twitter.com/piptal/status/1264234501292638210
I only got as far as Woodbine Beach, where any crowding was more due bikes and pedestrians than people hanging out on the beach, but still manageable. It may have been more crowded further east but I had still had to walk all the way back so didn’t venture any further
Walked along the lakeshore from Woodbine to Carlaw - bike and pedestrian paths getting plenty of use. But everyone keeping their distance. The east end lakeshore closure was fantastic. I’d love to see more of that. I think the key is to keep people moving.
