Quality, Versatility and Intelligence are the key characteristics that make Kimmich standout from the rest of midfielders.

A combination that is once again central to Bayern& #39;s success.
As a MF, Kimmich becomes central in the build-up, provides coverage in non possession and creates chances against deep-lying defensive blocks.

In this thread, I& #39;ll pick three situations from yesterday& #39;s game that showcase the above qualities.
Part 1: ball distribution.

Like a radar that can anticipate the other players& #39;movement, Kimmich can put his teammates in the best conditions to attack the space.

This pass to Davies proves how his passing quality can& #39;t be separated from the ability to read the game in advance.
Part 2: ball recovery.

For Kimmich, the product of good positioning and positive mentality.

The opponents are pressed into a tight situation so Kimmich doesn& #39;t focus on protecting the space behind him but he rather attacks the space aggressively to close the passing line.
Part 3: key passing.

Whether in transition, from the flank, or against deep blocks, Kimmich can always put a teammate in the position to score.

Yesterday, it was Perisic and Pavard. Their bad finishing is the only reason for Kimmich& #39;s zero assists at the end of the game.
With his skillset, Kimmich would be able to deliver in most of the positions on the pitch. Personally, I believe there& #39;s no better place than the midfield to make the most out of his qualities.
