Given today would have seen us play @Erraticscc we are going to share 4 results from over the years we have played each other. All were memorable games in their own right!
1) This game comes from back in 2006. In this 20/20, the Erratics posted a mighty 196, with most our bowlers taking a hammering. In reply, K.Clay top scored with 43*. However, Newton Pop ended with 193, falling just 3 runs short. Must have been a thrilling game to be a part of.
2) A game in 2019 saw the Erratics post a respectable 204 for 3 from their 40 overs. @Mr_Cricket96 with figures of 1 for 10 off 8 overs. In reply, N.Pop collapsed to 42 for 7. But, a strong partnership between @Mr_Cricket96 and @LouisAdey14 brought us back into the game.
2) With plenty of overs left and now 1 wicket remaining, House dragged us to within 12 runs of the total. However, House struck a lusty blow into the legside. To N.pop’s despair, Chave Snr made good ground & took a fantastic diving catch to remove House for 94. Another super game
3) A 40over game in 2018. N.Pop batted first & after the loss of an early wicket, I.Thomas and T.Clay settled in. Together they made 193. TC was removed for 89, whilst IT made 113. The team finished on 270. Erratics batted beautifully during the chase, but fell short of the total
4) Last game in this thread was a dismal one for us. Back in 2013, Erratics posted 114 in a 20/20
N.pop slumped to 23 all out (our lowest total by a long way)
