If you have a phone in your purse or pocket, you’re already being contact traced every day. Has it bothered you before?

My stimulus check was issued with incorrect names, so I think the government is far from organized enough to contact trace us into socialist submission...
Maybe I’m just too trusting. But considering the Wal-Mart app knows my grocery order, my phone tells me how far away places are if I get in my car at a certain time, & my number is already on numerous “don’t call lists” & still gets called, I’m just not that concerned here.
Big corporations & tech companies already know what I’m buying, where I am, & when I’ll get there. If a local small business or restaurant asks me to write my name & number down because contact tracing is needed to re-open their doors, then I’ll happily oblige so they can re-open
And if someone calls to tell me I have been exposed to covid-19, & need to quarantine & get tested, then I’ll be grateful.

If the way to end lockdowns is to make sure we’re communicating about who is sick, rather than just locking us all away, this seems an easy solution?
Again, maybe I’m too idealistic about how things could work or too trusting of “big brother.”

But we’re about to order donuts from a food delivery app, and when I open the app, it’ll ask me if I want to make last Sunday’s order again, because IT ALREADY KNOWS ME.
