@stonecold2050 I'm not a US citizen, I live in a democracy of 25mil. We've lost 102 precious lives to covid19. We've commenced several enquiries into 40+ potentially avoidable deaths. People will be held to account including the pm... 2
I can imagine the response of the Australian people had the pm acted in a manner that breached his oath, failed to act in the best interests of our country and as a result of that negligence 10s of 1000s people died. 3
Parliament House in Canberra would be surrounded, city streets inundated with protestors, civil servants would go on strike 2 shut down the grass roots level of administration & paralysing the nation. Civil disobedience, law & order overwhelmed until the government capitulated. 4
The persistence of the protesors in Hong Kong showed the heart of the country. Protest is initially to bring a matter to the attention of the public then to reinforce their collective message to government. 5
This is what I don't understand. Why isn't there more outrage, why aren't protesors on the streets, around their reps offices, government departments, strikers refusing to deliver goods and services to politicians..... 6
Of course during a pandemic none of all that's possible. I'm referring to the numerous occasions the trump administration has treated the American people with complete disdain, the children being held in cages, the tax rip off that delivered billions of dollars to the richest...7
A man who lies, disrespects and abuses women, appeals a court directive to supply caged children with soap, toothpaste and brushes, who delights in depriving hard earned career entitlements by unjustifiablely sacking them, who brags about sexually assaulting women...8
A man whose racist black soul determines *white power protesors as *good people, who still cries out for the death penalty for 5 black young men found not guilty regarding the rape of a white woman. A man incapable of empathy or remorse, a white feather coward. 9
And the most disturbing part of trump's insanity is the 31% of American voters who agree with him, who are as racist, as mysogynistic, as xenophobic.

This isn't the America the world once knew - it's the death of a democracy, the evaporation of a hard fought for union. 10
Have we been deceived all this time?

Has trump's behaviour given the green light to those previously silenced by the fear of social shaming?

Is America capable of recovering from the damage inflicted by trump? 11
For years I've screamed i/t the void of twitter, I've cried watching the cruelty, the children begging for affection, sobbing themselves to sleep alone on a concrete floor. I've shaken with rage as his sycophantic enablers massaged his ego. 12
In 2001 over 3,000 lives were lost when planes crashed into the twin towers and other locations. The reaction and response was immediate and punitive. 13
The loss of those lives is rightly commemorated each September 11.

Yet just 19 years on the equivalent of 30 planes flying into 30 towers and killing 90,000 people evokes not one word of compassion or sympathy from the person the country voted to lead and protect them. 14
What is it gonna take America?

What has to happen for you to rise up and take your country back from the criminal syndicate currently occupying the people's house, the White House?

100,000+ residents are dead, tens of thousands more will die from covid19.

Are you next? 15
If u've read this thread to this point, thank you for giving me the opportunity to voice my thoughts and fears. It's been therapeutic & long overdue.

My pinned tweet says it all. My concern 4 my fellow human being is real, my prayers for them are sincere. My hope is eternal. 16
God bless the United States of America and her people.

Especially the poor, the infirm, the homeless, the disabled, the most vulnerable - may God grant them the strength to endure.

End of rant.
