In 2014 Cameron demoted Gove from Education Secretary. Cummings was Gove’s special advisor. They go back a long way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_British_cabinet_reshuffle">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014...
‘Michael Gove& #39;s move from Education Secretary to Chief Whip, widely perceived as a demotion, came after Conservative campaign chief strategist Lynton Crosby warned Cameron that Gove& #39;s brand was "toxic" in polling.’
‘The move was criticised by many on the right, including Gove& #39;s wife, Sarah Vine, and his special adviser, Dominic Cummings, who said the move constituted Cameron& #39;s "surrender" to education pressure groups.’
I have a hunch Gove’s role in the demise of Great Britain has been underestimated.
Seems odd to me that the “successful” Cameron was not able to make a success of things but fell victim to those plotting against him.
I doubt that a “failing” Johnson will last very long.
