We have suffered:

Cars travelling at up to 40 mph despite speed bumps

Dangerous driving, overtaking other cars & cyclists, collisions with parked vehicles

Tailbacks from S Lambeth to Meadow Rd

Until recently HGVs and coaches

Air pollution

Constant noise

All in a historic conservation area with

Housing estates

Homes for elderly

Schools + nursery

London Cycle Network Route 3

Now & will avoid our residential streets

They will have to use A roads (A3, A202 & A203) instead

This is brilliant for residents of #ovaltriangleLTN and our neighbours

+ our cycling friends

No more rat running through #ovaltriangleLTN

means

no incentive for through neighbouring Handforth, Crewdson, Prima and Offley Rds

There may be more traffic on A3 (Clapham Rd) and CS7

But cars will no longer be cutting across both of its lanes for rat running.

Much safer!
