Initial thoughts:

Getting your initial cards is fun. My thinking is improving players are going to be the most profitable so happy to get Foden, Grealish, Saka, Greenwood and Reece James.
Then found out I lose all these on June 22nd. A bit disappointing but kind of makes sense, otherwise they& #39;re just giving me money.

Next I looked at tournaments to enter. Given my cards I& #39;m looking at freeroll, beginner and amateur.
I couldn& #39;t enter some as I didn& #39;t have a defender with a fixture, and realised, after a while, I couldn& #39;t play Saka in one tournament as he& #39;s 3 stars, so too rare, or too good. I ended up in a freeroll and a £5 entry tournament which I used a £5 discount voucher for.
I have another £5 voucher and lots of 50p ones that I got in my initial pack. There& #39;s also a few free roulette spins but this feature is under maintenance so not used them yet but looking forward to it tomorrow.
Roulette seems a risky way to get better cards but may be suited to cards who I feel are overvalued with players on the decline. Looks like another fun element to the game.

The shop is also under maintenance so not bought a pack yet. I get to keep these ones permanently so...
more important to get good ones. Given the pricing I& #39;ll go for 2 x £25 packs.

It feels like there& #39;s a few ways to have fun with footstock but it may require quite a large initial outlay to make money. For instance. £50 gets me 10 cards. The tournaments require around 6 cards...
to play but you need players in those fixtures and across positions. So 10 cards is ok with my starter pack ones, but when they expire, I& #39;ll probably need to spend £150 - £200 to be able to compete. Hopefully this is funded by winning in the meantime.
Overall I& #39;m looking forward to giving Footstock a go and see what happens. It& #39;ll be better when there& #39;s real games but my current cards are probably more suited to virtual games. I feel there could be a point where I need to cut my losses but also think spotting emerging talent..
early will be rewarded.

I& #39;m not sure if long term, players will end up with the same cards so tournaments will become a bit like Sky& #39;s Fantasy Six a Side.

Anyway, looking forward to my tournament later and the shop opening tomorrow.
