I guess we really do not agree but it’s cool to be able to talk and exchange and debate trying to understand each other.

This is the precise reason I wrote this thread in the first place, I knew some switches thought that Raelle’s behavior toward Scylla was out of character in the last 3 episodes, so I wanted to show you how it was just a heartbroken teenager trying to cope with the pain. First
2/
of all you have to remember city drop took place on 2 days. So she had the night to think about what she saw when linking with Tally and her talk with Helen Graves. And then the next day Anacostia tells her Scylla’s love for her was a lie. What would have been a normal
3/
reaction for you ? I mean Scylla did ask her to believe her and not them (Anacostia, the unit,…), and at that moment Raelle did believe her, but when confront with an undeniable truth what was she supposed to do ? "I know better, she love me and I love her, who cares about
4/
what they say" ? No, she allowed herself to be vulnerable with Scylla, she let her enter in her life, she loved her and she trusted her, and all of that for what ? For Scylla to manipulate her and use her… So of course she would get angry, and even mad at Scylla and, dare
5/
I say, mad at herself for believing her, for being a fool all this time, when everything was just a big lie. When she says "you’re dead to me" she knows this is not Scylla, but it is a cathartic way to express her anger and when she kills her she is metaphorically "killing"
6/
their relationship.
And yes by what she said to Scylla is episode 9, she has hurt her, but the question is not "how ethical is that to hurt someone you love just because you think they hurt you?". Because Raelle isn’t trying to hurt Scylla, she is hurt and she is hurting
7/
Scylla, but she is not doing it to get even or something. No she is not hurting Scylla because she wants to hurt Scylla, she is just trying to cope with the pain, and stop hurting, and to do that she tries to move on from Scylla. So yes when she talks to Scylla in episode 9,
8/
her words are full of anger and she hurts Scylla, but I’m feeling like saying those words hurts her too because she is still deeply in love with Scylla and it’s far from easy to move on from that. And whatever you may say, they’re human. It means they’re not perfect they both
9/
have their fatal flaws, their decisions may not always seem logical (but they are, it’s just their logic that we may not understand). And so what Raelle said to Anacostia is logical too. She could have tell Anacostia to say to Scylla she still loved her, but she is been trying
10/
to move on from their relationship for days, so that would have been illogical. However by saying to Anacostia to not be too hard on her and that she is a good person, she shows she still cares about her and that she understands Scylla do love her, but they can’t be together
11/
as things are now, so she is letting her go, she is letting their relationship go, even though she knows they both love each other.

Raelle spent the five first episode falling in love with Scylla, always choosing her first and she spent the last five discovering she could
12/
rely on her unit and that her sisters would always have her back. So I wouldn’t say Raelle’s development’s been inconsistent, on the contrary at first Scylla gave her a reason to live and so after her "death" Raelle was letting herself slowly die, but her sisters saved her.
13/
And she finally started to involve herself and trust in the bond she shares with her sisters. For me it’s good character development, because Raylla or the unit’s bond are both as important in the story.

Once again sorry for the rant 😅
