twitter doesnt show everyone's tweets in feeds either.
nor does it show all your followers in your feed either.
i personally dont rely on my feed, i use twitter search to find tweets to comment on.
those who have muted you can still view your tweets

host your own shares, where you tweet/retweet art, books/blogs, even music.
focus on impressions (the amount of times users have seen your tweets)
the more you reach out to other people and comment on their tweets, the more you are seen.

the best compliment from twitter is them believing you're a bot. that's when youll know, youve did your part of being seen on twitter.
(im a bot by default according to twitter... i even know the loopholes twitter flags have)

i talk about how i use twitter pretty much daily. because this method works for me and im not afraid to share it or do it to be seen/known on twitter.

when you're focused on your own account and what you're doing. and hitting the green in twitter analytics and beating your previous stats etc, you get pretty excited and you celebrate different things.
i tend to celebrate the impressions reach because that's pretty awesome

when you look at it:
almost 4k people follow me, i dont hit the 2400 tweet limit daily, and over 1.06 million times users have seen my tweets (over a 28 day period)
you dont need 10k or 100k or a million followers to be seen.
you need to make yourself seen on twitter.

having followers doesnt get you seen on twitter.
having followers makes you look better to other users and you're taken more seriously, but you dont need followers to have a million impressions. that's if you're focus on impressions like myself.

and not everyone is focused on impressions. people are focused on having followers alone. that's why they follow/unfollow when people follow them back.
they dont care about people, they dont care about interacting, they only care about having a high follower count.

i do what i do on twitter for a reason. for those who understand my reason, benefit from it. for those who dont, will assume whatever they want too. i dont have a problem with muting.
