He smiled, offering his bow to the leader as father and sect leader Lan conversed.
“Jiang Huan, courtesy Xichen, Sect Leader Lan,” he introduced himself, taking a basket full of lotus bun as an offering to the leader. “We hope this is according to your liking, Sect Leader Lan.”

“Don’t make troubles for young master Lan, alright, Xichen?” Jiang Fengmian reminded, smiling as he held his son’s hand and handed a lotus sweet bun covered in a thin white cloth.

Xichen nodded, taking the sweet bun from his father’s hand and bowed before the two of them.

They smiled, watching as the small figure disappeared slowly before their eyes. Their conversation continued.
