I was just remembering the time I lost the Eisner and then hung around a parking lot for a couple hours waiting for my long-distance girlfriend to arrive only to have her break up with me the next day.

That wasn't a great weekend

I took my now-wife on our fourth date to SDCC two years later, so it all worked out for me in the end.

That breakup was pretty spectacular, though. She threw me out of her car at a gas station in Glendale and I had to figure out how to get to LAX on my own. She didn't speak to me again for ten years!

She contacted me again to apologize, which was nice. Every girl who ever broke up with me has apologized for it, which probably means something but I have no idea what it might be
